The power of observation

A seemingly ordinary talent that proves to be an inexhaustible strength

I have a friend who once told me that she didn’t believe that observation skills were a useful asset (100% true).

I strongly disagreed with her statement: the survival of our species depends on our collective past as hunter-gatherers, and this survival has long been based largely on our powers of observation, combined with a winning combination of organization, coordination, physical fitness, and daring. Not only is it in our DNA to have this highly developed sense, but I see proof of it every day: I earn my living with my sense of observation—it is, in fact, my greatest strength.

Everything around me, or everything my eye has already captured, serves as inspiration. It’s those roadside business signs, those billboards at bus stops, those restaurant menus: everything that has been designed catches my attention on a daily basis and contributes to feeding this immense pool of information that occupies my mind, bubbling with ideas.

I have keen sense of observation and notice everything: company names, slogans, colors, logos on storefronts, signs in shop windows, displays in stores, advertisements on social media, the message.

This talent is the very source of my unique expertise. My curiosity is an infallible tool for finding new ideas and new processes: all things that directly benefit our clients and their businesses in the realization of relevant and impactful projects.
